An Extensive Tale of Exterior Home Renovation in LEHI, UT
At BH Exterior & Design, led by our talented contractor Mike, we embarked on a journey to transform Rachael’s home into a beacon of beauty and durability in the heart of LEHI, UT. Through a detailed project that involved siding installation, stucco application, and the addition of elegant home improvement services, Rachael’s residence was poised to become a testament to our commitment and expertise in exterior home renovations.
Our project’s cornerstone was the full exterior makeover, focusing keenly on both aesthetics and functionality. We began with the challenge of replacing the front of the home’s façade. Our team, with Mike at the helm, provided and installed board and batten and plank primed fiber cement siding, using MiraTec trim. This choice was made for its renowned durability and ease of maintenance, promising to keep Rachael’s home looking pristine for years to come.
The existing stucco details on the front of the home were meticulously demoed, preparing the surface for the new fiber cement siding. Not only did this enhance the structural integrity of Rachael’s home, but it also provided a fresh canvas to redefine its exterior aesthetics.
Moreover, the project entailed the installation of stucco on three sides of the home. This was a strategic choice, as stucco is not only visually appealing but also provides an excellent defense against the weather elements specific to LEHI, UT. Simultaneously, we removed the vinyl siding from the back of the home, ensuring uniformity and integrity around the entire residence.
Another highlight of Rachael’s home renovation was the shutter installations on six window openings. The shutters were not merely decorative; they added an extra layer of security and energy efficiency, reflecting our thorough approach to home improvement.
Our attention to detail also extended to the home’s rain management system. We provided and installed a 5″ seamless aluminum rain gutter system equipped with hidden hangers and six downspouts. This modern solution was designed to enhance the home’s exterior while ensuring practical water management.
To complement the overall design, we added decorative elements like window boxes or garage pergolas, offering Rachael the option to customize her home’s finishing touches. These elements promised not just aesthetic appeal but also an opportunity to personalize the exterior to her taste.
